The Chulo Magazine Awards honours outstanding accomplishments in entertainment from the previous year. Entirely decided by reader votes, these awards recognise the very best, across a range of media.
There are ten categories in the Chulo Magazine Awards, covering all aspects of entertainment. These include Best Movie, Best Video Game, Best Mobile Game, Best Comic Book, Best Television Series, Best Album, Best New Music Artist, Best Cosplay Model, Best Glamour Model, and Best Social Media Model.
Originally, the awards for Best New Music Artist and Best Social Media Model were known as the Rising Star Award and Sexiest Instagram Model respectively.
The inaugural Chulo Magazine Awards took place in early 2013 and included nine categories. The Best Mobile Game Award was added in 2017, bringing the total to ten.
