(Chicago, IL, 23 April 2021) Today, Chulo Magazine announced the winners of the 2021 Chulo Magazine Awards, their annual event honouring the accomplishments of the previous year in the entertainment industry.
‘Justice League Dark: Apokolips War’, sequel to 2017s ‘Justice League Dark’, won Best Movie this year. The award for Best Video Game went to the epic role-playing game ‘Genshin Impact’ by miHoYo. In a close contest with cosplay icons Jessica Nigri and Yaya Han, cosplayer and Twitch streamer Sophie Valentine won the Cosplay Model of the Year award. The Best New Artist award went to British vocalist Arlo Parks.
As with the previous Awards, the nominees were compiled by a specialised jury panel with fans worldwide voting for their favourites in each category to determine the winners.
